The idea to Globedweller.com arose in 2007 by two Danish guys, Lennart Kiil and Thomas Hesselberg, both of which had several years of expat experiences behind them and thus had experienced on their own body how difficult it can be to settle in to a new country without a strong local network. Lennart has lived in Spain and Hawaii for several years, while Thomas has spent more than 5 years in the United Kingdom as well as having lived in Germany and in Panama. Globedweller.com is now run by the Danish consultant company ZenSci Consult, of which Thomas and Lennart remain co-owners.
