Compared to Egypt's total population there is not a very large expatriate community. In Cairo, however, you will find some communities for expatriates of which there is about 30,000. There is some effort from official Egypt side to get more expatriates in the area of communication and information technology. There are some online publications serving English speaking expatriates in Egypt.
