Taiwan has a well developed infra-structure with modern and extensive road and railway links across the island. The most popular public transportation option for intercity travel is by the comfortable and frequent trains although deluxe intercity express busses are also in operation. Taiwan also has six international harbours and two international airports as well as several domestic airports.
