Due to its past and compared to its size, Barbados has a pretty thriving expat community of primarily British people, but also Canadians and US citizens. Real life on Barbados must be great because the online presence of expat communities and blogs is nearly non-existing. Most real life communities are probably centered around Bridgetown.
