The transport infra-structure is rather good. Public transportation is provided by the Barbados Transport Board. Transportation is possible with public buses for reasonable prices. They are quite crowded during rush hours so try to avoid these. An alternative way to get around is by privately owned, but licensed, mini vans. These cost the same as buses. You have to flag them down in areas safe for stopping. Car rental is also a viable option.
