Mexico has a very extensive and far reaching road network. Mexico offers one of the most developed bus networks in the world. Almost every community is served by at least one bus line. There is also an extensive net of rail lines crossing the country. Intercity busses, however, remains the favoured mode of transport for long distances. Mexico has more than 200 airports serving domestic and international routes.
