The child care system in Belgium is very good. Public nursery schools are called crèches. There are special communities for expat parents for exchanging advice. Attached to primary schools are kindergartens with opening hours before and after school hours. Higher education in Belgium is organized by the two main communities, the Flemish and the French. This makes it possible also for foreigners to find something to suit their taste and language capabilities.
