For European Union citizens, it is easy to come to Belgium and look for work. However, if you are not from the EU you need a work permit. If you come to Belgium as an expat chances are you already have some kind of job, where you need to speak a language you know. If not and you are looking for a 'local' job it is good to speak French and Dutch (Flemish.)
