There is little crime in Denmark, but as always take precautions when in crowded places. Denmark has a Scandinavian-German Civil Law, which is a sub species of Civil Law. The danish Supreme Court is the highest civil and criminal court responsible for the administration of justice in Denmark. The Kingdom of Denmark, consisting of Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, does not have a single unified judicial system - Denmark has one system, Greenland another and the Faroe Island a third. However, decisions by the highest courts in Greenland and the Faroe Islands may be appealed to the Danish High Courts.
