Public transport in Denmark is extensive, but also expensive. You can go most places with trains, and public buses form an even finer transport web. In Copenhagen there is a Metro and S-trains - meeting the demands of a big modern city. Roads in Denmark are in good condition and most of the infra structure is very good. Most places can be reached by car in Denmark because of an elaborate system of bridges. Car rentals are plentiful. Buying a car is very expensive and only worth considering for longer stays.
