There is one international school in Estonia: The International School of Estonia in the central district of Tallinn. It enrolls pupils from preschool age to 12th grade. In Estonia education is compulsory up to the 9th grade. The quality is generally good is is continually improving. Around 15 percent of Estonians have a higher education. There are a few universities in Estonia, most in Tallinn, but also in the second largest city - Tartu.
