Crime is moderate in Irael. Unfortunately, it has been on the increase since 2005. There is also a significant level of organised crime. It is advisable always to be cautious. When around holy sites and crowed areas extra caution is merited. There has been several terrorists attacks involving suicide bombers in Israel.
