Turkey has a relatively good and extensive infra-structure when it comes to highways which link most of the country together. The railway network is worn down and not very extensive although new developments are under way. For that reason the most popular public transport is the relatively cheap and reliable intercity busses. There are many domestic and international airports in Turkey connecting the country with the rest of Europe and Asia and beyond.
