The infra-structure in Brazil is relatively good considering the size of the country and it is usually never a problem to travel between large and medium sized cities and towns. The main mode of long distance transportation among Brazilians is intercity and interstate busses linking all cities and towns. Consequently, buses in Brazil usually come with an excellent and reliable service.
There is also a fairly extensive railway network in Brazil, however, it lack investments and does not run as reliable as the buses. If travelling inland or in the Amazon delta. the best mode of transportation is one of the multitude of smaller boats and ferries. All major cities are serviced by national and international airports.
