I lived in the USA for three years and since September 2010 I’m living in the UK.

7. What are the best things about living abroad?
The opportunity to experience a new culture, meeting new people with different backgrounds, having the chance to enjoy a different type of weather for instance, in Panama we only have a dry season and a raining season. Now I have the chance to experience winter, spring, summer and fall! It can also change your perspective and make you appreciate your home country more…

8. What are the worst things about living abroad?
Getting used to the local food and I think is more difficult for an outsider to find a job.

9. If you are moving to another country in the future would you find it helpful to ask fellow globe-dwellers with experience of that country for practical help with regard to customs, banks, companies, jobs, education etc?
I think I would. It would help me to get things done faster

10. How long time do you think that somebody has to spend in a country, before he or she would be able to offer valuable help to other globe-dwellers? Would you yourself be able to offer useful help in countries other than your native country?
It doesn’t depend on the time the person has spent in the country, but on the social life the person has. Some people would get to know the country in a year, others would need many years. In my case I could provide help for somebody planning to move to Arkansas, USA and of course to my native Panama.
